Zenkey collaborated with online restaurant provider Fabbo to help the company implement a robust, cutting-edge online restaurant listing and booking system that will allow Fabbo to grow it's business and meet the challenges of an ever changing marketplace.
Business Challenge:
Operating in a very competitive environment, Fabbo was faced with the challenge of building and implementing three separate websites that make up the Fabbo network of online restaurant systems in a very short time frame, and with a limited budget. To ensure total consistency, user friendliess and robustness with the online sites, there was a need for a speed critical system that would ensure Fabbo could continue to grow and expand it's organisation and customer base.
How Zenkey Helped:
Zenkey was approached in late 2005 to:
- Evaluate the business concept and design a system appropriate for its needs
- Assist in developing a continuing vision for Fabbo
- Design and implement a corporate feel that would continue through all Fabbo sites
- Help select appropriate products and payment systems
- Project manage, design and develop the fabbo network of websites
- Provide web and mail hosting for all fabbo systems in a secure data-centre environment
Zenkey chose Microsoft .NET, including ASP.NET, to build the necessary websites and applications that make up the Fabbo network of systems. Using industry standard tools, and implement VeriSign gateways for payment, Zenkey was able to acheive consistency through the distributed architecture and bring all sites into the network effectively.
